Green Machine Ensembles

Doc Nix and The Green Machine, the official Pep Band of George Mason University, is a group of musicians who are passionate about promoting campus spirit and supporting its teams and organizations. The Green Machine provides a spirited and energetic environment for Mason basketball fans at the Patriot Center, receiving local and national news coverage for it's unique and dynamic performance style that engages audiences of all ages. The ensemble's playlist spans genres from Pop & Classic Rock, to R&B and Dub-step. The diversity of it's styles is also a reflection of the diversity of it's make-up -- members include George Mason University Music majors, Engineering majors, Art majors, IT majors, Communication majors, alumni, community members, and musicians from the greater Fairfax area.
