Jordan Hawkins

L.A. based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jordan Hawkins builds a hypnotic atmosphere with his music, inviting the listener into an alternate reality that moves at its own unhurried pace. “When I was around 12 I sang my first solo in the choir, and it was really humbling to see people connect with me through my voice. From that point I decided I’d try to keep connecting with people through music.” The same year Jordan sang his first solo, he signed up for a classical-guitar class at school, and soon moved on to teaching himself rock-and-roll songs on an electric guitar given to him by his grandfather. By the age of 15 he’d started writing his own material, and quickly filled up an entire notebook with his original songs.
