Wake Magnolia is a two piece alternative rock band from Akron, OH consisting of Nick Galbincea (Guitar & Vocals) and Adam Miller (Drums). The band’s sound can be described as dirty melodic rock comprising of a fuzzy and thick guitar tone, loud complimenting drums and a booming and powerful vocal. Despite being only comprised of two members, Wake Magnolia is a wall of sound filled with catchy riffs and tons of energy.
Wake Magnolia released their first EP, "Smile Anyway", in June 2018. The band began working on their first studio album, “Shadow Cast Light”, in early 2019 at Superior Sound Studios in Cleveland, OH with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple, Brian Setzer, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack), and released the album in April 2022.
If you are looking for a band that is high energy, all about the riffs and loud, real loud… you’re in for a treat!
