Channel Description
Lesibu Grand (pronounced Le-SEE-boo Grand) is a indie rock band from Atlanta that grew out of a songwriting partnership between singer Tyler-Simone Molton and bassist John Renaud. The band takes its influences from the NYC New Wave scene, particularly Blondie and Talking Heads from 90s rockers such as the Pixies and Green Day, and current artists like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, and Nova Twins. Distinguished by Tyler-Simone’s warm, ethereal vocal style, Lesibu Grand fuses these strains into a refreshingly modern sound in songs that explore the unexpected joys, sharp anxieties, and beguiling mysteries that abound us all. Lesibu Grand's latest two releases, "WFS" and "Hot Glue Gun," were featured in Brooklyn Vegan, Alternative Press and Afropunk, and seen on MTV's Spankin' New, H2O, and VEVO's Incoming Indie.
