Channel Description

Hailing from Brooklyn during a revitalization of the New York rock scene, Atomic Tom grew up surrounded by indie giants Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the Strokes. Atomic Tom crafted their inaugural album, "The Moment" in the confines of a third-floor Brooklyn apartment with mics in the bathtub and amps piled high in the bedroom closet while fending off noise complaints and a generous detective or two.

After their album release was delayed, Atomic Tom took their career back by filming their iPhone performance of “Take Me Out” on the New York B Train which instantly went viral. The performance propelled Atomic Tom on a year-long tornado that included performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, George Lopez Tonight!, Rachel Ray, CNN, E!.

The sophomore album ERA featured “Someone to Love” which picked up steam across streaming — landing the band on Spotify's New Music Friday and TV/Film placements including Netflix's Daybreak.

Their third album "The Way It Never Was" debuted July 25, 2025.
