Channel Description
We are a Dutch indie band from #utrecht making 80s / 90s / 00s inspired #indie pop/rock. New Marshall Plan is Rogier (vocals/guitar), Roeland (drums/keys/vocals), David (drums/guitar/keys) and Bart (bass/guitar).
We have been making music together since 2008, but only in 2023 decided to share our work with the world after the unexpected death of Rogier's dad.
Our debut album, - Escalate - has been fully released in April 2024. We are now adding songs from our earlier days whilst preparing to storm the world as 45+ music loving blokes!
Our band name is inspired by the post-war recovery program that helped rebuild Europe after WWII. We see our music as a way of expressing our hopes and fears for the future, as well as our love for the past.
Examples of bands that inspired us are #joydivision #depechemode, #Interpol, #Eels, #Radiohead, #Muse, #thestrokes and #Metronomy.
