The Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company is a charity entirely focused on building a replica of the Sutton Hoo ship that was used as King Rædwald’s burial chamber in 625.
The company was formed in 2016 and took up residence in The Longshed, Tide Mill Way, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 1FP in 2018. Since then we have been researching, training, and experimenting in readiness to lay the keel of the main ship in the summer of 2021.
