Channel Description
The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is one of the premier scientific research institutions in the world, featuring researchers working on a variety of topics throughout the sciences. Since its founding over a century ago, Caltech has contributed to countless fundamental advances in humanity's understanding of the world around us. This channel features content from Caltech researchers working in astronomy, physics, and planetary science, with the aim of educating the public in the most recent advances and open questions remaining in these fields.
We host a monthly public lecture series, featuring a 30-minute science presentation, followed by an expert Q&A panel. Additionally, monthly Astronomy on Tap consist of two 15-minute science talks, pub trivia, and a less formal atmosphere at a nearby bar.
