Nicholas Cash Nourot

Lifetime glassblower educating the public about the mystical qualities of Glass. Nourot Art Glass Studio was founded in 1974 by husband and wife Micheal Nourot and Ann Corcoran, Nicholas’ parents. The couple built furnaces based on designs Micheal brought back from his training in Italy. That year Micheal also started batching his own glass color formulas. The most famous of those was Nourot Red Satin, this scratch made red glass made a name for the Nourot studio in the 1980’s and 90’s. High profile commissions included Presidents Reagan and Clinton, George Lucas, Bechtel, Lockheed, Clorox, and Pope John Paul II.

Nourot Art Glass Studio continues the tradition of exceptional quality and flawless craftsmanship led by son Nicholas. ​Raised in the studio and trained in factories and glass schools around the world, Nicholas’s work combines both family legacy and world class talent.
