Channel Description
Iconic Dream Pop / Alternative Rock band from Taiwan. Having greatly influenced by Sigur Rós, M83 and Agnes Obel, the band’s music style not only follows the structure of Dream Pop, but also combines elements from several genres such as Post Rock, Shoegaze, Psychedelic Rock and Classical.
From 2018, IMU have already attended so many international music events across the globe. Including： SXSW (USA), Mondo.NYC Music Festival (USA), BiKN Shibuya (JP), Zandari Festa (KR), Busan International Rock Festival (KR), Baybeats Festival (SG), ASEAN Music Showcase Festival (SG), Monster Music Festival (TH), City Roar Festival (MY) and much more.
After releasing the second album “Into Innerverse”, IMU was nominated as “Best Band” by “Golden Melody Awards”. The song “24 Years Old of You” was even awarded as “Best Alternative Single” by “Golden Indie Music Awards”. They also got nominated by “Fresh Music Awards” and “TAMA Awards” several times in Singapore.
