Australian based Theremin Composer and Performer. Lives in Blue Mountains.
Gary began the instrument on 18 July 2022, his birthday and started this channel on October 14th 2022 - A mix of original, improvised & covers that help him 'grow' on the instrument ... all are recorded close up in trad mode without pitch assist, and in real time, so he (and you now) can see the hand movements creating the actual work and perhaps learn from that - so it is really as an archive of his growth with a few nice pieces
On my main YouTube channel with 9000 subscribers he does long form serious music tech & other instrument performances & tutorials, so this is to make sure he doesn't confuse the two by putting theremin content in there ... He started with a modest theremini for literally 2 days before he decided to 'go for it' and got a latest Etherwave & OTv4 for about 5 months. Mid Jan 2023 he upgraded to a centennial Claravox & also bought an old Etherwave+ for travel mid 2024
