Welcome everyone!
I'm Andrew! I'm a doctoral candidate in violin performance and overtly enthusiastic teacher; I have decided to create this channel to more easily disseminate some of my thoughts on music-making and violin-playing to my students, and of course any and all are welcome to watch and/or comment.
I will try to keep all of videos short, sweet, and to the point! My goal is to break down and simplify some of the more confusing aspects of music. Violin playing is difficult enough: half the trick of playing well is making it easier, right?
There may be an occasional live-performance video posted on this channel as well. To the professionals who view them: I encourage all to remember that mistakes do happen in live performances even to the best of us, and I make no claim to be the best of us.
