Channel Description

Mystic Tea Party are an Australian alternative rock band from Melbourne. Formed in 2021 by vocalist Blume, and Polish-Australian producer Sebastian Walach. The band has a diverse, densely layered sound, containing elements of electronic rock, trip-hop, grunge, dream pop, shoegaze, and electronica. Their work received positive reception on a global scale, and is met with striking performances of equal caliber.

The debut single, "I'm Addicted," released in 2023, coincided with Blume's feature in a prominent World Pride campaign, highlighting them as Australia’s first openly Intersex musician. This catapult into the public eye marked a promising start, and the subsequent acclaim for their second single, "Aftertaste". Featured in esteemed publications like Harpers Bazaar, Vice and Daily Mail, along with interviews and radio plays across the country, the band gained widespread recognition.
