Wilds and Water Sailing

More Sailing, More Scenery, More Nature.

When we began this journey four years ago we didn’t know much about sailing, or each other. We actually spent our first official date driving to Mexico to put Conlee’s recently purchased 1996 Reinke S11 sailboat in the water. A couple months later, after saying goodbye to the familiar—our lives on land—we moved aboard, untied the lines, and sailed away, leaving Ensenada Mexico on November 1st, 2018. After learning more about the basics of sailing during a winter spent cruising in Mexico, we set off on a 3000nm journey half-way across the Pacific to Hawaii, essentially taking the round-about route back to Canada where we spent two years sailing the BC coast from south to north. We are both nomads at heart, with open minds and a passion for challenge, adventure, alternative & sustainable living, and learning more about the world around us. With this channel we hope to share, educate, and entertain those who tune in. Thanks for joining us!
