New Salt Sailing Documents our sail and power boat repairs, restorations, and refits aswell as spending extensive time on the water. This channel is intended to be for both entertainment and education. We have a dream of one day taking our own future blue water sailboat on extensive cruises to remote locations around the world. Our goal is to trade our way up to a blue water worthy boat with little to no financial investment. our Journey starts with a 1974 MacGregor Venture 21 that Ignacio acquired in a trade for a small utility trailer. Once the venture 21 is completed we intend to trade it up for a large trailer-able project boat in hopes of taking trips from Florida to the Bahamas to wet our toes in the cruising lifestyle.
