Chew FU is a Brooklyn-based producer, musician (sax player), and remixer. Having studied at the Utrecht Conservatory in Amsterdam, and cut his teeth producing records for Bad Boy Records, his distinctive production style blends house, hip hop, and the encyclopedic musicality only true musicians possess. The result is a unique body of work that spans multiple genres and has made him a NYC-underground icon everywhere from the rock bars of the Lower East Side to the LGBTQ warehouse parties of Brooklyn.
Chew FU's latest solo release LEGENDARY, features a distinguished guest list including Bootsy Collins, Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest, DRES from Blacksheep , Greg Nice, Sheek Louch, Jimmy Castor, and Dr. Cornel West. “In a lot of ways, it’s my past self and my present self coming together to make a sound for the future.” Chew FU said about the Legendary EP, which you can find wherever music is streamed.
