Choe Khor Sum Ling or CKSL is a FPMT Buddhist centre in Bangalore, based on the Nalanda tradition of Mahayana Buddhism. Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche is the Spiritual Director of CKSL. The name 'Choe Khor Sum Ling' was given by His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama. It means "Sanctuary of the Three Turnings of the Wheels of Dharma", referring to the three types of teachings given by Shakyamuni Buddha.
The three turnings of the Wheel of Dharma encompass all the sutras as taught by Gautama Buddha- both Hinayana and Mahayana. We at CKSL are fortunate to be able to host teachings on these profound philosophies by eminent Buddhist scholars and Teachers. Choe Khor Sum Ling YouTube channel is our effort to reach these precious teachings out to you.
