In 1969, Red Lantern Fireworks was born in Hunan Provincial Fireworks & Firecrackers Import & Export Corp, a state-owned enterprise in Hunan. The company’s top-quality products and competitive pricing earned remarkable success and market recognition, especially in Europe, Australia and Canada. Beginning in 1972, then U.S. President Nixon re-opened trade between China and the USA that had been suspended since the end of World Wall II. The Red Lantern Brand exported to and captured the US market and the imagination of American fireworks users.
