Channel Description
My name is Brian (bree-ahn) and I am a street photographer living in Boston, MA. I have been shooting street photography since 2015 and am completely self taught. Through this channel I am to show through photography and video a piece of the Albanian culture that rarely gets seen abroad. In case you haven’t guessed it, I am originally from Albania and immigrated to the US in 2023.
My channel’s name is drite.hije which means light and shadow in english (without the “and”). This word applies to photography in general, as you cannot have a photo without both, but also to the concept of good and bad (you cannot have good without knowing what bad is) and through this project of mine called “Edhe une jam Shqiptar” (I am Albanian too) I want to show the “light” part of our culture and heritage.
