My name is Samta Makkar, a female truck driver in Canada. I joined trucking back in 2023 in order to explore the industry.
This channel is an initiative which with the purpose of attracting more women and youngsters to transport industry especially as truck driver.
Through this channel I am not only focusing on truck industry in North America rather driving in general where I will cover topics like basic mechanics, safety driving practices, market research to invest in trucking, various opportunities in transport industry ,etc.
Moreover, we are going to learn about little things when it comes to dealing with car or truck related issues, especially when women are coming to this challenging job profile(truck driving) and driving car in general everyday; having knowledge and awareness to deal with certain situations can help improve women safety as they will better understand to tackle with certain situations.
Looking forward to share experiences and learn on the go.
