Old School Nana

I'm Nana- a retired teacher and counselor, a grandmother, and the proud caretaker of a 1938 rock schoolhouse in Oklahoma. Here, I share the joy of doing things "The Old School Way" from hanging laundry on the line, tending the garden, and preserving food, to cozy decorating, reading aloud in my great-great-grandmother's rocking chair, and sharing simple family recipes.

Sometimes you'll find me in the garden, sometimes in the kitchen, and sometimes on little adventures with my family. My hope is to inspire you with stories, traditions, and practical wisdom that remind us all of a simpler, more meaningful way of living.
