Freewarden

Welcome to the Freewarden Farm! We’d like to invite you on this journey with us! We are a homesteading family of 6. Our goal is to raise the healthiest, happiest animals for our nutritional needs. In a chaotic world it’s nice to have a little piece of land where we can bring order, stability, and peace to our lives. We’re focusing on learning to be as self-sufficient as possible, living healthier lives, and being good stewards of the land and animals we’re responsible for. Rather than trying to bend nature to our will, we try to work with the symbiotic nature of the land and of our animals.
We currently have 3 dogs, Aberdeen cattle, Idaho Pasture Pigs, Katahdin sheep, chickens, ducks, and quail. We feed and raise our animals as naturally as possible, giving them biologically appropriate foods to the best of our ability. It’s a rewarding life, and we’d like to share a little slice of it with you!
