LIONLION is a four-piece indie rock band based out of the south of Germany, centred around the identical twins Matthias & Michael Rückert. After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album 'The Atlas Idea', the follow-up EP ‘Rise & Fall’ gave a foretaste of their second album ‘Perspective’ (June 2021). Now 'Silent White' is the first of many new singles to follow in 2025.
The cinematographic video for ‘Oceans Rise’ was praised as an “aesthetic marvel” by the press and Arch Daily (the world’s most visited architecture website) featured it in great detail. In line with the 100th anniversary of German ‘Bauhaus’ architecture, the band have produced their videos in the reduced and minimalistic vocabulary of the famous modernist architectural style (Language, What Remains).
LIONLIONs aesthetic concept of their music provides us with a visual guideline and is an encouragement to keep a clear head and arrange one’s course of thought.
