Khaldun Albaz, known as "Kdun Albaz", is a musical composer and artist based in Dubai; originally from Jordan, he lived and studied in the United States. A self-taught Drummer and Percussionist passionate about exploring new rhythms and melodies, Kdun discovered an instrument he instantly fell in love with; the enchanting Handpan. Its unique acoustics captivates the listener with a hypnotic solid draw and has a unique vibe to its tone. Kdun uses the handpan's harp/bell-like tunes to create harmonious sounds in popular melodies.
Kdun is one of a very small number of accomplished Handpan musicians and is the first in the world to create a new and exciting genre in music called vegan. His style is a fusion of modern & traditional music and culturally inspired rhythms he picked up throughout his travels.
Kdun's musical inspiration is led by the humans he meets, the nature he observes and the cultures he connects throughout his movements globally.
