Born and raised in Costa Rica, Esteban is a versatile pianist and composer who has created a unique sound of pop instrumental music. Perhaps the Music umbrella that encompasses Esteban's unique piano sound is "easy listening", although some of his complex arrangements fall under World Music as well.
Esteban has released two albums. His first discography "Tico Groove" is a world music album depicting the sounds of Costa Rica, with a very distinctive vintage sound that travels from jazz to latin music. His second discography is "Piano Meets Mariachi", and was recorded with Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán in 2017. This album features the most iconic music from Mexico, and has been widely accepted for its original concept of this fusion.
Some artists that have inspired Esteban are Raul DiBlasio, George Winston, Yanni, and Liberace. Esteban lives and works in the USA and he is an official Steinway Artist.
