Aneliswa is a dynamic South African music duo composed of twin sisters, Anele and Neliswa Mxhakaza. Born in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, and raised in Mayville, the sisters have been singing since the age of 4, showcasing their vocal talents from a young age. Their big break came in 2013 when they appeared on Idols South Africa, making it to the Top 33 and winning the hearts of audiences nationwide.
Now the sisters have returned to their roots with their original duo name, Aneliswa, and are ready to make their mark once again in the South African music industry.
Their upcoming EP, Is’fungo is a heartfelt collection of six songs, all written and co-written by the sisters. Blending themes of love, their music draws on their deep passion for storytelling through song.
Aneliswa is set to captivate audiences once again, blending soulful harmonies with deeply personal and relatable themes.
