Southern Illinois Shortwave Radio.

I've been a radio user since about 1976 when I was 10 years old. I talked on the CB Radio up until the early 90s when my home base station got hit by lightning. Along with CB radio, I have been listening to Shortwave Radio since about 1983. I also listen to Scanner Radios since my home area is still pretty active on analog.

My antennas are my Alpha Delta DX-Ultra inverted V Dipole that I put up in 1994 shortly after we moved out here. A DXE-RF-PRO-1B magnetic loop I put up in the Spring of 2021, and a TRAMM 25 - 1200 MHz Discone.

I'm 58 years old, and my home base is in Southern Illinois in the United States. I live a couple of miles outside a small little town in a rural area on 40 acres of land surrounded by over 1000 acres of farmland.

I also enjoy Computers, Road Bicycling, music, and Astronomy since I was 9.
