Jabari Allen, better known as Young Pink ,was born on August 26, 1992; the son of an aspiring poet. At
the age of two he moved to St.Louis. One year later he was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis,
a neuromuscular disease causing weakness and rapid fatigue. Two years later his parents
separated, and his father moved to LA. Bari found solace in music. Here members his mother
playing Smokey Robinson, theTemptations, and California Love on repeat. It wasn’t until his
father introduced him to Jay Z that here ally began to see music differently, “I remember I seen a
stack of albums on the top shelf like some holy grail type shit… I bought‘ em all and‘ gone keep
buyin’ em”.
