Hi, my name is Xan Hughes! I play the theremin; one of the WORLD's FIRST electronic musical instruments invented around 1919 in Soviet-Russia.
Over the past year; I have devoted my open time as an individual with a severe mental health disability, to further educate and provide experiences, virtually and in-person, for those curious to discover this super unique musical instrument.
I struggle with childhood-onset schizoaffective disorder. But I never let my mental illness or label limit me from pursuing my passion for the theremin!
