The beauty in Alaska is astounding with breathtaking landscapes & wildlife! In the fall of 2017, we received an incredible gift of a Mama Lynx & her SEVEN kittens visiting our back deck! The photos are featured on our website, RuggedAlaska.com, and also on our Facebook Page - Tim Newton Photography. The family returned again that fall, and we were able to get videos of them all playing on the deck - they played for about an half an hour. It was the experience of a lifetime. Two of the siblings returned in 2018, and climbed the trees out on the property. They played and frolicked in the snow - even hugging each other at one point. We have had a lot of moose visit our place, along with bears. One bear climbed up in our hammock, removed the pillow and then had fun wrestling it. We still need to post those photos! Tim is an avid hiker and photographer of Alaska, born and raised, loving photography for most of his life. He has captured many gorgeous scenes. Please come join us!
