Dan Moore Drums

I have been a performing & recording drummer for most of my life. I grew up in Boston and started building my chops learning from local standout percussionists Dennis Sullivan & Glenn Davis. I started playing with local jazz ensembles coordinated by the John Payne Music Center in Brookline MA, and started studying cats like Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, and Vinnie Colaiuta. I hit my rock & roll stride in high school, became obsessed with Stewart Copeland. In college, I merged my jazz roots with my rock tendencies and started a progressive fusion band called Kilgore Trout. We eventually re-located to Seattle in 1992, achieved some acclaim, and I've been in the PNW ever since keeping my chops oiled and my eyes open for new playing opportunities.
