HH Candramauli Swami is a disciple of the ISKCON Founder Acarya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, and an initiating spiritual master within the ISKCON movement.
Born in New Jersey, USA, in 1947, HH Candramauli Swami began practicing Krishna consciousness in 1973 and the same year he received initiation from His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
In 1986 HH Candramauli Swami accepted the sannyasa order and began his preaching activities. In the early 1990's he became involved with the ISKCON Prison Ministry in the USA where he has been serving to this day, becoming the leader of the Ministry.
His wrote the book "Holy Jail", a touching compilation of the activities of the ISKCON Prison Ministry.
