The Spark is a Nashville-based band fueled by a deep, humble pursuit of God’s Word and presence. Every lyric flows from a place of love, longing, and awe for Jesus—calling the Church to LOVE JESUS LOUD. With bold declarations of Truth rooted in Scripture and music that’s honest and Spirit-filled, The Spark exists to ignite hearts with a passion for God’s glory and renown.
What began in a small local setting has grown into a ministry that’s led worship across the U.S.—from youth conferences and retreats to gatherings of all kinds. Through every stage and every season, the mission has remained the same: to point people to Jesus through authentic, Spirit-led songs.
At its core, The Spark is a husband-and-wife team, Chris and Ro Marvin—with Chris leading most of the songwriting and musical direction. Now based in Nashville, they continue to write and release original music that stirs deep affection for Christ and draws the Church into deeper intimacy with Him.
