Sanatan Shastar Vidiya is the Indian battlefield art of the traditional Sikh warriors, the Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa Sikhs of North India.
For the first time in history, in order to revive the true ancient martial heritage and associated practices, this combat system, also known as 'Ayudh Vidiya' is being revealed to the world at large. Even within India, the true fighting arts, known as 'Jang Dee Vidiya' are now very rare.
This complete Indian 'Savya Raksha' and 'Jang' unarmed and weapons martial art tradition can be found in the 'Akali Nihang Baba Darbara Singh Sanatan Suraj Bansia Shastar Vidiya Shiv Akhara', founded in 1661.
