Marla Leigh (Goldstein) is an internationally recognized composer, educator, and frame drum specialist dedicated to sharing the universal language of rhythm. With a BFA and MFA in Flute and Percussion, Marla combines classical training with a passion for community-building and musical exploration.
As the founder of the Frame Drum Academy, she has built a vibrant global drumming community, inspiring thousands worldwide through her innovative online courses. An endorsing artist for the Cooperman Company, Marla co-developed a signature line of frame drums reflecting her unique style.
Believing in the healing power of music, Marla released her debut album and music video, Rhythms of Tof Miriam, in May 2020. Recorded in Israel, it honors the ancient lineage of women frame drummers through song and visuals.
Marla is currently working on her second full-length studio album, Rhythms of Illumination (working title), scheduled for release in 2025.
