My name is Daniel Smart
I have in the past struggled with my mental health via Anxiety and Depression. It got so bad at one stage that i couldn't even leave my house without having someone with me. Without going into too much detail i was always in bands as a kid and always wrote poetry and my own songs. In the early 90's i was gigging regularly on what we would call the "circuit" and we were really beginning to break through, but then my young wife (25) was sadly struck down with cancer and died leaving behind a 6 month old son. I was devastated and i struggled with my mental health and had to step out of what little piece of limelight i had to raise my son. For the next 30 years all i did musically was strum an old acoustic guitar.
During lockdown I discovered a site and it reignited a passion in me and the results are all posted here.
