Channel Description
Hello! Welcome to WaveRiders. It has been six years since we left Canada and flew to our new live aboard boat in Croatia. At that time we were both new to sailing catamarans. And blogging! ! Ha Ha. Now we have sailed across the Adriatic, Mediterranean, Pacific and Caribbean oceans. Our first hurricane season was spent in Grenada. We spent covid locked down in Panama after crossing through the canal. After the world starting opening up again we sailed to Costa Rica and up the coast to Mexico .
We have now crossed the Pacific and spent a year in French Polynesia. It was amazing.
Finally we sailed West to Tonga and Fiji. Andrew had a medical emergency and had to fly home to Canada.
I sailed WaveRiders to Australia where she is now. Our journey has ended and WaveRiders is being put up for sale. Update. Sorry but Andrew has passed away December 23rd 2023.
It is sad to say goodbye to our home and this life.
