Shaykh Haytham Tamim, founder of the Utrujj Foundation is an expert in the Islamic sciences and taught comparative jurisprudence, holds some of the highest ijazas in Quran, Hadith and Fiqh and is also a consultant in Islamic Finance. He is passionate about teaching and has delivered innumerable courses over the last 20 years.
Selected as one of the hundred most inspiring Muslims in 2019 by Emerald Network and winner of the British Imams and Scholars Award 2015, he is currently a member of the British Board of Scholars and Imams (BBSI) and leader of the Sunni Lebanese community under Dar al Fatwa.
He takes a keen interest in promoting love and tolerance within the Muslim community as well within wider society, as well as voicing the need for social justice.
Often consulted by his students for his wise, compassionate and balanced stance.
