I’m Paolo Almacen—Nurse Practitioner by profession, foodie by obsession, and your internet kapitbahay who’s always thinking about their next meal.
When I moved to the US, I didn’t even know how to cook the dishes I grew up loving. Now? I’m making them, eating them, and filming the (sometimes chaotic) journey in between. Filipino food is my love language—it connects me to home, memories, and the people who’ve shaped my story.
I’m not a trained chef (not even close). I’m just a hungry guy who finds joy in cooking, baking, and sharing stories through food. As Thomas Keller once said, “There is no such thing as perfect food… only the idea of it.” So if my videos make you smile or remind you of home, then I’ve done my job.
