Rachel's Vineyard is the world's largest ministry of healing after abortion. Women and men around the world who suffer from pregnancy loss come to our retreats and find healing and hope. This retreat model was founded by Dr. Theresa Burke and is based on the extensive research she and others have done on trauma and healing. Retreats combine the latest trauma-sensitive psychology and neuroscience with Living Scriptures: powerful meditations that immerse participants in Gospel scenes where they meet Jesus personally. These retreats are conducted in both Catholic and interdenominational settings.
