I'm the Sagebrush Pirate--an adventure sportsman with 33-years of experience as a 2nd-generation professional restoration ecologist and Utopian-anarchist. My heroes have all tried to change the world we live in for the better, through peaceful means and honest commitment to simple ideals. I was born during the year Earth Day was first celebrated, and have largely followed the maxim throughout my life that man's only true obligation is to attempt to live in harmony with Nature. We are the most clever species to exist, and I am among the optimists that we can achieve dynamic balance.
My videos focus on revealing the natural beauty of the western U.S. by highlighting my work and recreation among its most stunning natural features. My profession involves the re-vegetation of disturbed land areas, especially wildfire sites, and I will post fun, informative videos detailing how everyone can easily get involved in activities that sustain a healthy environment for us to share.
