The company that was founded 1993 by Vartan Bassil and Kadir „Amigo“ Memis in 1993 now celebrates its 25th anniversary. The Flying Steps are one of the most successful urban dance companies worldwide with breathtaking shows and one-of-a-kind choreographies, appealing to a diverse audience. They are specialized in urban dance styles and won four times the world championships like the Battle Of The Year and the Beat Battle. As of today more than 40 professional dancers are part of the Flying Steps company. But they do not only create and produce international dance shows. Promotion of young talents and dance education is the center of their work in the Flying Steps Academy, which they established in 2007 in the heart of Berlin. The next generation of urban dance has the opportunity to learn from the best docents of the scene. With its 35 teachers and over 2.100 students it is now the biggest urban dance school in Germany.
