GURMAT SANGEET CHAIR
Gurmat Sangeet Chair was established in 2003, for the all round development of Sikh Sacred Music Gurmat Sangeet at Global Level with the earnest efforts of Bibi Jasbir Kaur Khalsa (Chairperson Sri Guru Gian Parkash Foundation, New Delhi) and Professor (Dr.) Gurnam Singh. Dr. Gurnam Singh was designated as the Founder Head, Gurmat Sangeet Chair. Apart from the establishment of Sant Sucha Singh Archives of Music (2004), Gurmat Sangeet Bhawan (2007), Bhai Randhir Singh Online Gurmat Sangeet Library (2007), Bhai Juwala Singh Ragi Auditorium (2015), the Chair is regularly publishing books, dictionaries, audio-visual publication and archival recordings under various research projects.
Gurmat Sangeet Chair also organises Annual Programs as Gurmat Sangeet Utsav, Rababi Bhai Mardana Classical Music Festival, Memorial Program, Seminars, Workshops etc. and also bestows Senior-Junior Gurmat Sangeet Fellowships.
