Staheli West was born from a simple problem and a bold idea in the hay fields of Southern Utah. In the early 1990s, founder Dave Staheli faced the challenge of producing quality hay in arid conditions, where the lack of natural dew made baling difficult and costly. Inspired by an experience at a taco restaurant and driven by prayer, faith, grit, and curiosity, he developed a steam-based solution to reintroduce moisture into hay at baling. That innovation became the foundation of Staheli West and changed the way forage could be managed in arid climates.

Today, Staheli West continues to build on that pioneering spirit by designing and manufacturing advanced forage-conditioning technology that helps farmers improve quality, reduce loss, and gain consistency in any environment.
