With 30 years of automotive industry experience, our founder Dwayne Saunders recognized the need for providing auto repair through a different lens. After a brief trial-and-error business model, he opened Genuine Automotive & Diesel in Austin, Texas, in 2019. The concept of superior auto services and repairs and real customer care makes perfect sense to us, but it was so novel to our local clientele that customers voted to include “genuine” in the shop’s name.
