Channel Description

The O*NET Program is the nation's primary source of occupational information. The O*NET database includes 900+ occupations covering the entire U.S. economy and is available to the public at no cost.

O*NET websites focus on multiple audiences, from students (My Next Move) to veterans (My Next Move for Veterans) to Spanish speakers (Mi Próximo Paso) to workforce professionals (O*NET OnLine). O*NET Web Services provide developers access to the full O*NET Database, along with the most popular features and tools from each of our websites.

The Occupational Information Network (O*NET) is developed under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA) through a grant to the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
