H.H. Tamal Krishna Goswami began associating with the Krishna Consciousness movement in 1968 and was accepted as a disciple by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in San Francisco the same year. Though no longer physically present among us, H.H. Tamal Krishna Goswami lives forever through his instructions, books, academic work, and in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. May he continue to touch the hearts of those who will come to know him through the videos in this beautiful collection of lectures.
The context of each lecture should be understood as a reflection of the time, place, and circumstance during which the lecture was given, i.e. these lectures were given within the temple environment, intended for committed practitioners of Bhakti. Therefore, any high standards and principles discussed should be taken as something to aspire to, rather than as a deterrent on the path of Bhakti.
