Soorya Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization devoted to preserving, propagating through imparting training, and performance of Indian Performing arts. Its basic mission is to enrich the cultural diversity and artistic excellence in the state of Missouri and across the Greater United States of America.
Soorya Performing Arts organizes annual American Natya Festival in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. It has curated 12 national dance dance festivals since 2008. It also has created 5 music Festival. Soorya performing Arts invited many eminent artists such as Padma vibhushan Birju Maharaj, Padmashri Kadri Gopalnath, Dr. Nagamani Srinath, Padmavibhushan Kamala Lakshman, Adyar K Lakshman, Dhananjayans and others to perform in its organization. It has given opportunity to more than 2000 artists since 2008.
Its Baithak series has encouraged many young artists. It has curated more than 25 Baithak performance
Guru Prasanna Kasthuri leads the organization with volunteers and Board members.
