Channel Description
𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑬𝑹 𝑬𝑨𝑮𝑳𝑬𝑺 is a dutch reenactment that puts its focus on the 𝟯𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗘𝗕 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗖, 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Our group has a secondary unit that we portray, 1st Infantry Division, 16th Infantry Regiment. Company C of the 326th jumped into Normandy with various units on June 6th 1944. Her main job was demolition. To blow up the bridges to halt the german reinforcements, and buy time for the main infantry units to move up inland. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 = 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲
They jumped with the 501st, 502nd, and 506th. For the most part they blended in as standard paratroopers. Their equipment differed from the standard loadouts. Their helmet decals were marked with big E’s instead of regimental decals like the hearts or spades.
