Akihito was born in Fukuoka prefecture in Japan. Between January and October 2000, He won first place in TV Champion's Special Effects Make-Up King Competition three years consecutively. He won Avant-Gard Make-up competition at the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show held in the United States in 1998. In 2002 Akihito moved to the United States. Since living in the United states, he has worked as a sculptor and Special Effects Make-up Artist on PREDATORS, NARNIA 1,2,3, IRONMAN2 ,SHUTTER ISLAND, ALICE IN WONDERLAND,TERMINATOR 4,5 JURASSIC PARK4, DEAD POOL2, PACIFIC RIM, GUARDIAN OF GALAXY 2 and AVENGERS 2
福岡県出身。1997, 1998, 2000年「ＴＶチャンピオン特殊メイク王選手権」3連覇。一流メイク関係者が世界各国から集まる「インター,ナショナル,トレイドショー IMATS（米）」アバンギャルドメイクアップ部門で優勝した唯一の日本人。
2000年 円谷プロダクション「ウルトラマンコスモス」メイン怪獣デザイナーを経て渡米. 独創的なアイデアとセンスで新しい世界に挑戦し続けている新進気鋭のファインアーティスト兼、特殊メイクアーティスト。 現在LAを拠点に活動している
